Post Birth

Looking through all my drafts. And I'm just going to post.

Here is a quick recollection of the few weeks after we got back from the hospital:

My feet weren't swollen before Em came, but after. Whoowee. look at those suckers! My doctor said two things were my priority. Laying with my feet above my head and nursing my new bundle of love.
Her first time "rolling over." AKA She was laying next to me and moved enough that gravity did the rest. She's so tiny.

Dad and baby snuggling.

Dad and baby took lots of naps together.
Em's "nest." We didn't purposefully co-sleep until about 2 weeks. So, for the first two weeks, we padded up the carseat with blankets while Grammy took the shifts. During other times, we used the pack-n-play bassinet.

Our first family walk. Now I wish I remembered when this was exactly. 3 weeks maybe?
I love the finger in the ear.

Becoming really alert.

And not so alert. :)

Sleeping like a princess. She took up 1/2 the bed. We were sure thankful to have a king-size mattress!
