We're married!

We did it! We got married on September 12 in Vernal. We had a luncheon after several hours of picture-time (and an hour break). Then we had a short, very short, break and then had our reception. We really enjoyed seeing everybody and want to thank all those who took time to come celebrate. This, of course, goes for our reception we had in Texas on the 25th--but, now back to what happened after the12th. We drove to Salt Lake City because we had a plane to catch Sunday to Los Angeles. From Los Angeles we boarded the "Splendor." We took a cruise down to Mexico. We really enjoyed everything. We've had a long day, so we'll continue tomorrow. :)

Cont. We had two day before we reached our first destination--Puerto Vallarta. These were both a "Fun Day at Sea." It seemed like the boat never slept! There was always something going on! Our travel agent got a cake for us. Steven really enjoyed it. I think I had one piece. He snacked on it every time we needed to stop by to get something from the room, in the morning, midnight snack, you name it. When we reached Puerto Vallarta, we decided to get off the boat and explore a little before our tour with the cruise. We went to a market to get some water--yes bottled. We were curious to see the differences between produce and this is what we found! Cute little bananas!

Then we went on the tour around town. This place was beautiful! We absolutely loved it. We stopped by tons of places--one of which was a Catholic Cathedral. It was very elaborate.

After a bunch of other city touring, we went to a village up in the moutains. I loved it! We ate up there and looked around at the stuff to sell. This is a picture from Mazatlan. We decided to do some shopping there. Steven just LOVED bargaining and speaking spanuguese. That's what I call it. He served in Brazil, so he knows Potuguese, and they are close enough to get by, but it confused the Mexicans at times. On our way back to the boat we took another Taxi back. The driver wanted to drive us back to the boat in a way where we could see the best scenery and attractions. This picture is from one of the stops. In Cabo San Lucas, we went snorkling--both of us for only $20! Needless to say, it was gorgeous! That is our honeymoon it a nutshell! We have now been home for a week. A full week! (Almost, we actually had my Grandma Morgan's funeral Tuesday) Anyway, we have been married for a month and will be going to church tomorrow (Oct. 10) for the first time in our ward. Steven and I are also going to be doing a musical number sometime while being down here. That should be, oh how do I want to put it.... nerve-racking! We still aren't all put away in our house, but it is coming along. Still job hunting as well. Steven finally got two interviews lined up and possibly a job at the college (tutoring). He also found out while at the college that they have internships there. So, we might have found our spot for his internship! We'll see!
